SFRUC Welcomes MSFT International Students with Immersive Orientation Activities

BEIJING, October 2025 – The School of Finance, Renmin University of China (SFRUC) has launched a series of orientation activities for its new cohort of Master of Science in Financial Technology (MSFT) students, offering them a deeper understanding of the university's history, development, facilities, and campus life.

The program commenced on September 15 with a visit to the University Museum at the Tongzhou campus. From 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, students explored the museum's exhibits, guided by detailed explanations that chronicled RUC's founding and development. This journey through history helped students appreciate the university's legacy and value their academic opportunities here.

The engagement continued on September 25 with a trip to the renowned Zhongguancun campus. From 11 AM to 2 PM, senior student guides led the newcomers on a comprehensive tour, showcasing key facilities such as the library, school gymnasium, canteens, dormitories, the campus museum, and historic buildings. They also introduced various student clubs and shared essential academic tips.

The visit concluded with a valuable session where program supervisors offered academic advice and recommendations for exploring Beijing.

These thoughtfully organized activities have successfully helped international students connect with the RUC community, fostering camaraderie among peers and a stronger sense of belonging.
