Speaker Introduction: Professor Jacques Peyrière is an internationally renowned mathematician. His research fields include harmonic analysis, fractal geometry, probability theory, and the application of finite automata theory in number theory and physics. Jacques Peyrière is a first-class professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Paris-Saclay (formerly Paris Eleven University), and served as the leader of the Orsay Harmonic Analysis Group (a laboratory jointly managed by Paris-Sud University and French Council for Scientific Research) up to 10 years. Professor Jacques Peyrière has taught at Yale University, Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and served as a doctoral supervisor for five Chinese students. Professor Jacques Peyrière has published two books on harmonic analysis, both of which are available for sale in China, one of which has been translated into Chinese.
