Introduction
Since Antiquity the states do a lot of wars. These conflicts may be military ones or economic ones and in particular wars between currencies. After the Second World War, the USA dominated the world and the US dollar was the most important currency. After the end of the Bretton Woods agreements in 1971, the supremacy of the United States began to dwindle. The question we must ask ourselves is now whether we are returning to a system closer to what the world knew until the 1914-18 war.
