Webinar| Analysis on the International Capital Market (May 11)
Time: 2:00-4:30pm (GMT+8), May 11th (Tues.)
Topic: Since the United States launched its fiscal stimulus policy during the COVID-19 pandemic, the price of the US bonds has been falling all the way. The price is 22% lower than the historical high in March 2020. It is the biggest drop since the establishment of the US bonds index in 1973. Contrary to the prediction that the US dollar would be devalued, the US dollar index rose strongly in the first quarter of 2021, reaching 93.43 on March 31. The rise of both the US dollar and the ten-year US bond interest rate at the same time indicates a turbulent international capital market, or could a black swan event occur? How will the trend of the international capital market change? How will the economic recovery policies affect the market?
