Jan 10, Susanne Chishti, CEO of FinTech Circle, founder of FinTech Circle Institute（London-based）, co-editor of the bestseller “The FINTECH Book” and “The WealthTECH Book” met with Yuanyuan Song, director of the Center for International Programs, School of Finance, Renmin University of China (CIP,SFRUC) and Runfeng Zhou,program coordinator at CIP, SFRUC. They shared thoughts on FinTech education and future collaboration.

Song shared the course design of the to-be-launched Master of Science in FinTech Program which integrates both FinTech expertise knowledge and practice. This two-year English taught Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program is SFRUC’s flagship international program, with ten years’ running experiences. In 2021, the MSF program will upgrade to the FinTech direction, as a leading program in China. Chishti said she was very willing to establish further cooperation with the School of Finance, RUC on FinTech education through lectures, case studies and field trips.

Chishti also shared her new book “The PayTECh Book” and said she is willing to do more to promote China-UK collaboration on FinTech research and education.

Susanne Chishti is the CEO of FINTECH Circle, Europe’s 1st Angel Network focused on fintech opportunities & Founder of the FINTECH Circle Institute, the leading fintech learning platform offering Innovation Workshops to C-level executives and online courses. She is also the Co-Editor of the Bestseller “The FINTECH Book” which has been translated into 10 languages and is sold across 107 countries, and The WealthTECH Book and The InsurTECH Book (published by WILEY in 2018).

MSF Program at SFRUC was created in 2010 as one of the very earliest program of this kind in China. It was designed to cultivate global financial talents and business leaders equipped with financial expertise and innovative spirits, especially with a focus on China. With SFRUC’s rich academic resources and strong alumni network in the financial industry, this program offers international students a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes both academic and practical skills.

The 2021 Master of Science in FinTech (MS_FinTech) Program will be open for application in Oct 2020.
